Desperately seeking hairdryer

Shoptillyoudrop2024 · 02/12/2024 10:02

Need a new hairdryer so looking for bargains today.
Not keen on price with dyson but happy to pay up to £150 if amazing. Have shoulder length wavyish hair but blow dry straight. Thick so looking for power and lightweight as fed up of my dying old hairdryer.

Please tell me is it worth spending £150 instead of lots of baby bliss have seen deals for £30+
Looked at shark but for straight wavy seem out of stock.

Need advice as you can see 🥰

Parlux.

Shoptillyoudrop2024 · 02/12/2024 16:43

Any others. Are more expensive ones definitely worth the extra cost?

I love my GHD Helios hairdryer. Not sure if it's better than lower cost options though.

Mrbay · 02/12/2024 18:28

Diva hairdryers are great - had mine over 8 years. Normal weight and dries my thick wavy hair quickly.

I have one of these and it's amazing. Wish I'd got it sooner.

Parlux.
Bit in fairness my is at least 10yrs old so other brands that are out there might be better

QuiteCurious · 02/12/2024 18:31

Parlux!

Readytoevolve · 02/12/2024 18:31

Parlux, its hairdresser grade. Get a full size one.

Allwelcone · 02/12/2024 18:31

I like my parlux too, dries hair fast

WingSlutz · 02/12/2024 18:48

I was a Parlux devotee for years but recently switched to Diva on the advice of my hairdresser. It's fab. I have long thick hair btw.

LoafofSellotape · 02/12/2024 18:50

Parlux is amazing but I've just replaced it with a £30 Diva and I'm more than delighted with it as it has a better nozzle.

FaceLikeACrackedScreen · 02/12/2024 18:52

I've had two Parlux in 28 years, second one is only eight years old so I expect it to last another decade. 3200 compact plus here.

I love the Shark hairdryer

Batmanisaplaceinturkey · 02/12/2024 18:59

I've got 2 divas and a parlux. The parlux blows them away.

Batmanisaplaceinturkey · 02/12/2024 19:00

However, I might be comparing apples to oranges as the model numbers make a difference I think.

Hi, I'm in the same position. I'm thinking Parlux but not sure which to get.

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 02/12/2024 20:40

I’ve had a Parlux 385 Power Light for 18 years, used daily and still going strong.
Powerful, light, long cable, brilliant.

Parlux. I adore mine. I have tried a lot

Therno · 03/12/2024 07:07

Don't buy cheap ones, it will damage your hair.

Shoptillyoudrop2024 · 03/12/2024 12:41

Think will go for Parlux Powerlight 385 loving all the colours. Think might have red as a change to black 😀

Thanks for all these replies

It's a lot but the Dyson one is really worth it imo

Danaking · 05/12/2024 09:10

I have tried many and honestly it has to be Parlux. I love mine.
