Looking for an evening foundation. I used to use bourjois foundation which was an amazing match and great coverage. I have been using bare minerals liquid foundation or Primark which is too thick and seem to be getting dry patches around my nose/pores. I always us a primer and moisturise.

I wear Garnier liquid glow during the day as like something light but looking for more coverage for evening.

Maybelline Super Stay is very good and not pricey. They 24 hour version is dewy, the 30 hour one has a more matte finish. I

Chanel les beiges is dewy but with good coverage.

Boots No7 Hydraluminous - also their serum concealer is brilliant too.

What's stopping you using Bourjois if it suits you?

EmotionalSupportPotato · 02/12/2024 08:26

Chanel les beiges

I love Elf Halo Glow and CC cream, I think the trick with older skin is to use less and thinner formulations. Full cover , pore minimising etc just sinks into the wrinkles and looks worse ( I'm talking about in myself but I'm sure it must be the same for others) there are some great older ladies on YouTube doing make up tutorials that's where I discovered the Elf range

I have started adding my foundation to my moisturizer and mixing it together before applying so it's a bit thinner - inus eOrdinary serum foundations but it works with others too - I seem to get a better finish like that

KitsyWitsy · 07/12/2024 21:38

I use Chanel les beiges too. It’s very light and good for day to day. For more coverage I use Dior. Can’t remember which one off the top of my head.

ghostyslovesheets · 07/12/2024 21:40

I’ve used tinted moisturiser (54) but dd suggested rimmel multi tasker a few weeks back and I like it - definitely needs a moisturised base but it’s really nice

Yes they do,it's in Boots and Superdrug, been back over a year now.

hexsnidgett · 08/12/2024 10:02

Boots website doesn't have bourjois anymore and superdrug only have it in selected branches.
Amazon sell bourjois foundation, but it might not be the same one the op is after.

Superdrug have it on line. I bet it's the Healthy Mix foundation that was so popular.

I used No 7 Hydrlauminous for years, it is good. But I have switched to Sculpted by Aimee Second Skin

Chillilounger · 09/12/2024 07:11

I rate il makiage. I thought it was internet hype but tried it and it's actually really good.

Superdrug do, I bought some a few weeks ago. But you can also get it on Amazon and they've always been fine for me, didn't seem to be fake.

My favourite foundation is Georgie Armani luminous Silk.
