Hi there !

it’s my friend’s birthday soon ! She will be 44. She is beautiful, very stylish. She is hard to buy for because when she wants something she can buy it herself. I’m not stylish at all but I’ll love to get her something for her birthday ! Would really appreciate your help thank you

A wool scarf in a neutral colour.
Some long leather gloves.

A perfume set with samples.

I got a similar friend an engraved Dior lip oil.
She loved it. Said it was so thoughtful & personalised

One really great, unusual gift I once received was a scalp and face massage. It was very relaxing.

Personally I'd steer away from clothes and accessories unless you really know the person well. The only 2 people I ever buy anything for in these categories is my mum and my best friend, and only if I'm absolutely sure about the item.

I'm always happy to get a good bottle of wine - I can never bring myself to spend more than about £12, so when I get really nice wine at like £25-30 it's a real treat. Last Christmas, my friend gave me good quality wool socks, a bottle of wine and a book - it was the perfect present.

If you definitely want to go down the clothing route, a neutral pair of cashmere socks. It might sound lame just to gift a pair of socks, but good cashmere ones are pricey and beautiful. Or cashmere gloves in a neutral colour.

Edit - ah, just noticed you already got a gift - and a lovely one!
