Best dryer styler combo for a teen ?

My DD has long hair with a slight wave and likes to use dry rollers / sleep with plaits or something else to get more waviness into her hair.
I am wondering whether to get her a styling tool for Christmas. Can anyone recommend where to start ?
My hair is very straight and just gets a blast from the dryer so I have absolutely no clue what works.
I do not have a Dyson budget but am willing for this to be a biggish Christmas gift so open to a range of prices.
We have tried using my straighteners to add curls but not very successfully.

A diffuser might be good for her? Along with some curly hair shampoo and conditioner maybe and a silk sleep bonnet.

I have the Shark Smoothstyle, which is easy to use and gives good results.

Thanks all this is exactly what I need but I am still anxious about getting it wrong !

Someone else recommended a shark Flexstyle ? I suppose my thinking is it would great for her to be able to try several different tools rather than just one thing as she doesn't yet know what would work best !

I've got the shark flex style. It spends more time in my teens room than in mine! It's really great I'd recommend.

I bought a Refurbished Flexstyle on eBay for £118 today which is an absolute steal. There's a code for 30% off which should pop up when you add to basket, not sure if it's today only.

@holidayfever2024 the one I bought is out of stock now but this is a very good price and you get the case so it's probably better to give as a gift.

Michael Douglas and Davina McColls partner.. he's a celebrity hairdresser has his own range.
I think better than Dyson and much cheaper.
