Which one is better for long hair?

Sorry unhelpful but I equally would like to know for shorter hair?!

I have a Dyson and the filter has completely broken, and Amazon replacement never stayed put. It keeps turning off and I think it's reached the end of its life. But also my fine straight hair doesn't feel great ever and I've begun to wonder if it's the dyson!

I've got short hair so might not be that helpful but I've got a Dyson and my hair is in such better condition, in fact I never need to use conditioner anymore. I wash my hair daily, so use the dryer daily too and I love it. I'm 54 and my hair is on the coarse side due to greying.

My DD's have all got one and have long hair though, and they all report the same with the condition. It doesn't have that intense heat that dries it out?

Or maybe another brand? I've just been looking at Amazon reviews and this one cracked me up 🤣

My wife sings whilst using it so it must be good.

I don’t know much about hairdryers as I look like a bowling ball that’s been rolled in fluff, but this wasn’t for me, it was a present for my wife who has really lovely long hair that smells of Disney princesses. I did a lot of research before buying as I like my wife’s hair, as does she, and I didn’t want anything that would frizz it up or burn it off. Nothing wrong with bald, I carry it off quite nicely as did Sinead O’Connor back in the day and Gail Porter, very hot!!!!
Anyway I’d already purchased my wife the cloud nine straighteners after her GHD ones gave up the ghost and the replacement GHD ones failed after a week so I knew the brand, and the lovely Linda in John Lewis said they were brilliant. She had the same hair as my wife as well( don’t know if it smelled as nice cos you can get thrown out of places for smelling someone’s hair).
Anyway since using the cloud nine hairdryer my wife’s hair is still lovely and still smells nice so I’m guessing it’s doing it’s job well and she sings whilst she’s drying her hair so she must be happy.

I had a Dyson. It made my hair crispy and was in awful condition. Got rid of it for a Parlux and it was instantly better. Definitely the Dyson that was ruining my hair but I know that doesn't happen to everyone!

Just wanted to say thanks for this.
I wash my hair daily (always have and probably always will) and it seems to be quite an unpopular opinion.
thank you for giving me hope
