Help me find jeans / trousers to wear with these boots!

I am clueless! I live in leggings in winter but not sure thats going to work. I’m tall with very slim legs. I wear similar boots to work with leather look/ wet look leggings. Basically something thicker and smarter than normal leggings. With a shirt with big collar and a jumper vest over the top.

Mom jeans that end a couple of inches above your foot look lovely with these type of boots. If blue, I'd go for a dark wash.

I’d say some like those in the John Lewis picture, or even wider.

But really they’d probably look best with tights/dress/skirt.

Thanks everyone! Some good suggestions but they’ve turned up today and they feel really middle added! I think I do need something with a chunkier sole but not super clumpy.
