Can we talk about modestly priced handbags please?

I am not in the market for a £250 plus handbag. Even if I could afford it, I would prefer not to spend that.

In fact, my ideal price would be £150 and under. A while ago, I used to be able to buy a plain, unbranded, classic handbag in leather for that price. But now they are so far to find!

I ordered two handbags from Mango recently because I loved the design. But on closer inspection, they are very obviously “plastic” looking.

The other option is Vinted I suppose, but don’t ask me why, I prefer to buy new for something as intimate as a handbag.

Are there any other options please? Factory sales etc?

I echo Etsy, tk maxx but also Vinted for independent brands unlikely to be faked iyswim.

Betsy and Floss seem to have some nice bags in that price range

I like michael kors, £250 in shops, £50 on vinted… buy them that way x

I'm the same as you and after much research at the start of the year went for an Isabel Bernard bag, I use it everyday and have had loads of people asking where it's from, in short really great leatger quality, planning g to get another one

I bought a real leather bag from a stall in a London market a couple of years ago for £125 it’s still perfect despite daily use

as a PP suggested Osprey London are very nice bags for the price

Pom Pom London might be worth a look as are Sofia & spritz bags, depending on what you want.

I usually buy high end bags but I saw someone with a bag and it was lovely. It came from Parfois and I bought a leather tote and it’s really nice and extremely cheap!
