i mean you might as well walk bare foot if the side of your foot touches the pavement.

or if the big tow goes over the edge as well.

get bigger shoes!

[unreasonable]

Misdee the toes aren't so bad, it is the crusty heel skin that worries me.

Oh and dirty toenails.

misdee · 28/04/2008 18:00

A useless observation: I have noticed that British women often wear sandals that look too small (foot spilling over the edges/toes overhanging the front), and American women often wear sandals that look far too large (lots of extra shoe 'pad' on display).

hifi · 28/04/2008 18:32

i hate seeing flip flops that "just fit".

Fimbo · 28/04/2008 18:36

Wrong season perhaps but my bug bear is Uggs. Lots of people seem to walk inwardly on the heels of them. It doesn't seem to matter whether they are real or fake.

MargaretMountford · 28/04/2008 18:39

plus I've seen a lot of yellowy unpainted toenails on display this last week

bozza · 28/04/2008 18:42

It is tricky though, if you have wide feet to get them to fit, especially if you want pretty ones rather than footglove. But I do work on my heels and my toe nails at least.

misdee · 28/04/2008 18:44

i want [pretty ones, and have wide feet. so i generally dont buy them if i get footspillage.

Yes, not all trodden and squashed down under your heel, agree with Cali.

bozza · 28/04/2008 23:10

Well cali it is a pity you are so far away or you could pay a visit to my daughter's nursery and din that into her head - she has ruined the doodles I bought her as indoor shoes by doing that very thing.
