Some here

Clarks have some too.

I do like the silver though

solo · 29/04/2008 12:28

Why, oh why are they sooooo expensive!!! We went and got a pair of sandals and a pair of shoes on Saturday and as I wasn't paying for them(but still very conscious of the price)it was interesting to see the reaction from Dp when he had to pay...his attitude is nearly always ' just pay the bill', whereas I have to be extra careful with cash. the two sets of footwear came to just short of £60...He was in shock! lol.
Gorgeous sandals though PEPINO by Ricosta from a Start Rite shop.
Shop was much better than Clarks for fitting them too.

MargaretMountford · 29/04/2008 12:32

I always find myself not asking how much shoes will be - partly because I know they will be expensive but also because it seems bad form to not want the best possible for ds !!

MargaretMountford · 29/04/2008 12:32

I like the Barratt's ones btw and silver are cute

solo · 29/04/2008 12:38

MM, I always look at the price first. If they are way beyond sensible, then I put them back. I do though, always* buy properly fitted shoes for both Dc's.
I saw a friends niece last week whom she looks after sometimes. The mother is just not right in as much as she dresses the child in clothes and shoes miles too small.
The child is beautiful, but her toes are curled in the most un-natural manner, which is just so sad...seems her mother would rather spend her money on drugs and booze...

wiffey · 29/04/2008 13:01

loving the silver ones, agree with the closed toe thing as remember falling over in open toed ones as a kid ..... ouch

Fimbo · 29/04/2008 13:22

Those Barratt ones would be perfect for my nearly 10yr old dd who takes a size 4, but they stop at a 9. Why do they think that bigger sizes mean children in mini adult shoes?

Grrr it's my bug bear.

The silver are nice too btw.

nobodysfool · 29/04/2008 13:31

All beautiful shoes for the girls but what about the boys.
There is always such a rubbish chioice for my DS unless i want him looking like a fuddy duddy geography teacher (no offence to any geography teachers).
Where oh where can i get well made, correct fitting funky shoes and sandals without taking out a second motgage?

collision · 29/04/2008 16:22

what are the sizes like for Bambini shoes?

My boys have such wide feet.

DS1 (6y) is 11 F and

DS2 (3y) is 7.5 G !!

I would be loathe to get them off the web as Im not sure about fittings and things.

Shhhh · 29/04/2008 19:14

collision, I have never ordered from them before so I can't help..sorry..Maybe someone will be along soon to help us..

I bought them in the hope they will fit as the website seem ok with returns etc.
