I prefer my body, post-baby

I was always a slim pear, now I have boobs (am breastfeeding) and a waist. Weirdly, my hips are smaller. All good news for me, but am worried about when I stop bf - will my body revert???

DD is 8 months old, I weigh less than pre-pregnancy. BTW I eat non-stop but healthy, and am on the go from dawn till bedtime. I suppose not sitting bored at a desk snacking all day long is the reason why.

What are the odds that when I stop breastfeeding I'll gain back all the weight? Did you?

same as SE
straight after birth both times I lost weight but after about 6 months I put it all back on again
mostly through boredom eating and that 6 o'clock essential glass (x3!) of wine

I didn't lose any weight until I stopped breastfeeding with both boys.

I do prefer my body now, as I am fitter and slimmer and more toned. This is due to working at my diet and running a lot. The only thing that I would love is a boob uplift as they have rather sagged now.

I am also what I would call a slim pear (5 ft 10 and size 10 on top, 12 on bottom). Unfortunately boobs shrunk after bf (even smaller than they were before, now a 34 AA!) I put a little bit of weight on, but not loads. Key I think is to either have the will power to stop eating cake when you stop bf, or do some exercise (or both!) I opeted for the exercise option.

Overall happy with post baby body. Flat tummy and same size on bottom half as before. Just wish the boobs could have stayed

naturelover ssshhh

I have been lucky as well. I was always a generous size 12 (or more) pre-pregnancy and only 5'2".

After the first baby I went down to a 10/12 and I was happier with my bra size (had previously been slightly top-heavy). dd2 is now 8 months and I am a size 10 or even 8 and just over 8 stone.

I eat what I want. I have b/fed on demand with both. I have no idea if I will regain the weight but I didn't first time round.

My personal theory (no doubt someone more scientific will say this is impossible) is that my metabolism changed dramatically during pregnancy due to the hyperemesis I suffered first time round.
