DD has asked for a hairdryer and hair products for Christmas and I’m a bit lost! I have a scalp condition and have to be careful what I use.

She mostly likes doing slicked back ponytails but likes heat less curls as well.

Any product ideas?? Her hair has had a trim since the photo.

Her hair is quite thick by the looks of it? I would get her a good quality straightener, preferably one that's narrow enough she can also tong some curls in if she wants. And a bog standard hair dryer.

In terms of prodcut, very thick dry hair can have a tendency to be a bit frizzy so product-wise I'd go for some kind of hair oil - good to protect her hair from the dryer/straightener and will keep it shiney and smooth too.

I swear by Olaplex oil - pricey at £18, but it's worth it.

The magic air styler is the dupe of the Dyson styler. She'll be able to dry, straighten and curl her hair with it without heat damage.

Cantu is brilliant for thick wavy hair. And cheaper than previous suggestions!

What beautiful hair your dd has!

I'd also buy some hair masks the tubs of herbal essence ones smell great.

Gisou Hair Perfume
If she is using heat, she needs a heat protector, my favourite is kerastase thermique (I buy this one for my daughter too) but it is pricey.

Apologies for disappearing - phone issues.

We have hair oil - Gisou. We have a few hair stylers (a ghd and a few different wands) as well.

I don’t mind spending a bit as it’s Christmas and I do love her hair so trying to keep her from burning it off!!
