Looking for Comfortable Black Ankle Boots for Walking & Rainy Weather

I’m looking for black, ankle-length boots that are comfortable enough for standing for long periods and walking. Ideally, they should be durable and suitable for rainy weather. Any recommendations?

Blundstones? I'm not sure of your level of casual/dressy.

Yes to Blundstones. I wear them with almost everything.

Clark’s Chelsea boots

Gabor are comfortable and they do some smart ones. They have them in Jones Bootmaker and John Lewis.

In addition to knowing how smart you want them to be, what do you mean by 'walking'? A short urban walk (school run on pavements) or hiking on wet ground?

Friend bought some black sketchers boots with a furry lining that she swears by. They look ok.

What type of walking?
Paved? Track? Woodland? Moorland? Heathland? Coastal?
Do you need a good grip on the sole? Do you need to be able to drive in them or will you change your footwear for driving?
Gortex or similar membrane will keep your feet dry, whatever design you go for. But if there is no mention of a waterproof membrane, then you're unlikely to have dry feet in very wet conditions (unless you go for a plastic or rubber ankle boot).

Thanks for your suggestions! Will take a look Easter Smile. @avaritablevampire Ideally paved and walking on the grass in the park. Essentially something perfect for walking around London. I usually dress as smart casual so I prefer ankle boots.
