I have a curly one sided mullet thanks to my romantic husband-what can I do?

My dh very kindly offered to wash my hair last night and did some manic 'massage' technique which felt great but seriously knotted my hair up into non brush outable dreads.
Consequently after four hours of trying to salvage the left crown part I had to cut it out to approx an inch long. IT IS VERY NOTICABLE
The rest of my hair is nearly to my bum and mixed race curly curly so now I look like a deranged slash fan.

Should I go to the hairdressers and ask for the mullet to be completed or go short or just hide out for six maybe twelve years?

The rest of your hair to your behind and you chopped it!! Blimey I would have gone to the hairdresser before cutting extreme measures, bummer.

I advise hiding out if you cannot bear to cut the rest.

OMG you poor thing!! Could you perhaps get some extensions to cover the damaged area?

We need pictures so as to give you a full assessment. I'm sure it isn't as bad as you think - it always feels shorter than it looks ...(she says hopefully!)

Sorry been phoning round hairdressers to try and get in. Yes its like that cluttercup but on one side with longer at the back and front and much curlier lol
If I looked like Halle Berry I would be happy with that cut but I'm not sure of the effect it will have on my double chin
Papillion, I was tired and angry and sitting in a bath of hair with a major headache at 1am this morning(I got in the bath at 9pm) and so in my wisdom I thought it would be easier to chop out the offending bits.
It is however, in the sanity of daylight, half of the top crown much like a demi halo.
