Sheepskin gloves or mittens? Which?

I was just about to buy some sheepskin gloves from John Lewis and saw they had mittens, I don’t think I’ve had mittens since I was about eight. Which have you got? All mittens better.

Mitten are cute but not practical , gloves are easier for actually using your hands ( opening doors etc)

I've got Ugg mittens which are great for long walks along the coast but less practical for city centre shopping.

Mittens are warmer but less practical.

I cycle a lot and mittens are an absolute essential! Definitely warmer but as others have said, not as practical if you’re wanting to actually do things. I have sheepskin gloves too and they do make my fingers look actually enormous, whereas the mittens oddly look more streamlined. So I’d say wool type normal gloves but sheepskin mittens.

They are not practical in anyway for me. I probably have 10 pairs plus if I looked for them

Mittens are theoretically warmer. But I have a pair of both and the gloves are much warmer because the mittens are too big and there’s just too much air to hear up around my fingers. The gloves fit pretty snuggly and work much better.

Neither of mine are the John Lewis ones, just to be clear.

I have had several pair of sheepskin gloves and they aren't as warm, still impractical because they're bulky, and they seem to wear out very quickly.
My mittens are much better, warmer, don't wear out in the same way, can do things like opening doors, but obviously not use phone, though can't in the gloves either.

So if I’m going sheepskin, go mittens
