I think I might be asking the impossible. I’ve lost a bit of weight and gone from a size 24/26 to about a size 20 - to accommodate boobs and tummy, the weights come off bum, thighs, hips, face, shoulders, the tummy is thé worst at the moment - I need to find some good shapeware as I’ve an overhang and it looks bad in anything too clingy.

i love this dress from Boden but don’t really want to spend more than £60/£75 as I’m still loosing weight so it’s just for this winter. https://www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/ribbed-metallic-party-dress-metallic-pannelled-stripe/sty-d1117-mul?cat=C1_S2_SH0016
and this one from never fully dressed https://www.neverfullydressed.com/products/olive-tilly-dress-1 in green. I’ve been looking at Laura addlington on IG for inspiration as I feel she’s my body type if taller, I’m only 5’4 and don’t wear heels so no maxi dresses. I could stretch to the green one but don’t have a strapless bra so again adds cost when I feel boobs is where it’s going next - I’ve lost back size so cup size is next I suspect.

i tried on some bits in M&S today and so much looks like a sack or draws attention to the tummy - empire line was awful for this.

im open to a skirt/trousers but I need tops that come a bit lower than standard if they chop me at the navel as I’m long in the body it looks wrong.

colour wise - not black, bright red, preferably colourful/patterns/fun, I have some scamp and dude, popsy and seasalt but want something a bit more party for a couple of nights out and Christmas/new year - I feel good and want to look a bit good in something.

Laura Adlington’s website is good too:

As is:

And this may be inspiring:

I suspect the best use of your budget would be to peruse these articles then look for brands that appeal to you on Vinted. (As you’ve seen, £60 is unlikely to buy (new) the sort of quality you’d want, but you could be very lucky in the pre-owned market.)

I'm a plus size model and these are the inclusive fashion brands I shop at
