I haven't been out on a mini pub crawl for over 20 years.
I am now 66.
Most of you know I'm disabled and use a stick and can't stand for long.
But I'm going to a very special occasion my daughters 40th. A few pubs late afternoon before a meal.
All ages going.
It's January and will be very cold.. l plan to wear a coat.. take it off inside.
I've loved this dress for ages but l was very obese until my mounjaro journey.. and feel so good about myself and weight loss .. l feel now l can carry this dress off.. l adore it and it flatters me..but plan to wear black snag tights..
I have black ankle boots.. brown ankle boots and black calf boots.. l don't like knee boots and can't wear heels anymore.
I'm open to more ankle boots ( mine are all clarks).
Thankyou so much.
I'm so excited to be going.

Love that dress.

I'd go for black ankle boots with the black tights. What style are the boots you have already? Eg biker, smart etc.

What are your feet like eg wide/narrow etc? (Helps people recommend!)

My feet are narrow.. even when l was much bigger l still had slim feet ( clarks normal D fit). I think I'll probably go for black ankle boots.. but new ones . A new gorgeous dress deserves new boots right?.

Simply be have a sale on right now and have a lovely pair of Hush puppy boots. Very comfy and flat. They come in black https://www.simplybe.co.uk/shop/p/in574

It's a lovely dress and congratulations on your weight loss and having a super, grown up daughter.

It isn't until January so no need to be desperate. There are lots of lovely boots about. I'd go for black ankle boots I think but I'd be mindful that it may be icy and slippy in January so I'd go for something with a grippy sole. I think you could get away with something quite clumpy with the dress andnit would rock.

I'm 64 and have rank osteoporosis so would go for comfort and safety

Please come back next year and tell us all about it.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Fit flop do some stylish but incredibly comfortable ankle boots which I’d pair with thick black tights or maybe if your feeling like some colour a wine colour?

I think it would look nice with black converse boots but I love a converse. They are comfy, especially if you have narrow feet although I will admit they aren't much good in the rain and you might get cold feet if it's chilly.

I can't wear them unfortunately.
Don't support me enough .
