What flat shoe would you wear with this outfit?

So I am going to London for my 30th birthday just before christmas and I love this outfit but can't wear heels. Any recommendations for a shoe that would be nice?

Could be a proper shoe or maybe a trainer if you think I could get away with it.

I was thinking of maybe a white or nude trainer but I don't know if that's over done.

I am very plus size and have wider feet.

Also if you have any thoughts on accessories please do share ☺️

Yep this are flat enough! I really like those but not sure if they are what I'm imagining for this outfit.

But then I won't really know what I'm imagining hence why I started the thread 🤣

I'd wear a black trainer, if the trousers are long enough to be breaking over the shoe (not hanging above them, iyswim).

I agree, black trainers.

You might like this at John Lewis:

I'd be wearing these, comfy too.

I love these! Black trainers is an idea too. For some reason I was fixated on a white trainer but I think use are all right.

@Summerhillsquare I love those too!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far everyone!

I'd go for chunky patent black shoes

Make sure you buy both shoes though. One trainer would look odd and is not very practical.

@Words a very good point well made 🤣

Chunky loafer?

bunnybunnybunnybunny · 16/11/2024 18:10

I think white of off-white would look far better with those trousers. Black is too heavy.

Careeradviceplease1234 · 16/11/2024 20:01

I've ordered @Plump82s suggestion and I already have loafers similar to those @ChannelFiveDrama shared (thank-you).

@bunnybunnybunnybunny I totally see where your coming from and I think originally I thought exactly the same thing. I have 2 pairs of white trainers that I'll also try out with it I think and see what I prefer the look of.
