Are there any credible alternatives to Tweezerman tweezers?

I've had my Tweezerman tweezers for 20 years+. They're incredible, I've never found anything to compare to them.

However, after 20+ years, they're not as sharp as they were and I'd either like to send them away to be sharpened (do Tweezerman still offer that?) or find something as good to either replace them with or use whilst they're off being sharpened.

Can anyone recommend some tweezers that are super sharp and effective?

If you like them that much, is buying another pair not an option? Or are you looking for a cheaper pair?

Buy more tweezerman’s. Nothing compares.

Not correct - Rubis are far superior

Is it that they’re not gripping as tightly as they were? You can’t actually tweeze a hair with them? I thought I’d sprained mine somehow, but it turned out that they needed to be sharpened or resurfaced - can’t remember what they called it on the article I read. If you have a nail file then you can do it yourself - tweeze the surface of the nail file at the top, don’t squeeze too hard but apply a bit of pressure and pull them along the file to the end. It roughens the surface again and they get their grip back. Mine are good as new. Not sure if that’s what you mean by not being sharp any more, but if it is this works perfectly

Just sharpen them

I sharpen my scissors

I have Boots tweezers which are slanted and work brilliantly just as good a Tweezerman
