Hope this pic attaches! I have this Zara dress - I'm only 155cm so I don't have masses of leg on show but I'm not comfortable going bare legged. I tried on with opaques as that's all I ever wear and I thought it was ok but dd(28) didn't agree 😆
I think I need to get some sheer nude tights but where's good for that? Or any other ideas? I don't want to spend Wolford type of money as I'm not likely to wear them much. Thanks!

Try Primark. They're very good for tights.

I have opaque nudes from Amazon for these situations sometime with a patterned tights over the top

I've never seen opaque nude tights!
I was thinking something more partyish I guess 🤷‍♀️
Are some kind of glossy nude tights not a thing? Since Covid times I've lost the habit of wearing nicer clothes

Google gives you lots of options for opaque nude tights from Debenhams to Heist to Calzedonia. The Debenhams ones are 40 denier. The rest seem to be a low denier which might feel cold.

I think glossy is dated, but I'm no guru. I have 180 or 200 denier nudes. They do a million shades. I have Heist tights for regular day wear and they are a bit more expensive but I have some pairs for two years, they wash great and also have a million shades

I would try Snag or Better Tights. Both do good nudes and party tights. Love the dress.
