Warning if you’re thinking of ordering from Arket or Cos!!

I am having an absolute nightmare with my order from Arket and wish I had read the online reviews first and saved myself all this hassle.

I ordered nearly £400 worth of items online on the 3rd November. Order still hasn’t been dispatched and customer services are shockingly bad…rude and unhelpful, refusing to cancel or refund the order. I have ordered from Arket many times before and although delivery can be a bit slow I have never had an issue like this. They are deleting any negative comments/reviews on social media. Just wanted to share in case anyone is thinking of order from them soon!! Worried they are going bust or something and I’m going to lose my money 😞

In my experience I've never had a timely delivery with either shop.

I shop at Cos a lot and also find their deliveries to be really slow. Nine times out of ten I will get an email to say their is a delay. I love their clothes though so stick with them.

Ha just clicked on that link and I left a review a couple of years ago! Still shop with them though as I know I can trust their clothes to suit me.

No, they're not going bust. I do believe they're moving warehouses or something like that - remember, COS is part of H&M, as are Arket and & Other Stories, so I wouldn't be surprised if they share a warehouse/staff. As one of them often has an offer/sale on, that would mean there's a delay in fulfilling orders and dispatch.

It's common practise not to be able to cancel an order once it's been confirmed, so it's not customer service being unhelpful, they can't do this. Ditto refunding an order that's in the limbo of being processed/waiting to be sent out.

On the most part, COS only takes 3-4 business days to deliver, although at the moment, it's been around 10 working days. The last order I made was late to be dispatched and I was sent a discount for my next order as a gesture of goodwill.
