Can I be a winter if I have green eyes?

All of the quizzes on colours indicate I should be an autumn but I look better in jewel tones than rusty colours.

im going round in circles with it!

What is a Winter, or an Autumn? (Apart from being seasons obviously.)

It’s a way of determining which colours suit you best

I don’t think eye colour makes any difference - undertone is the only thing that matters. I would get a professional analysis though - I was convinced I was a summer and wore a lot of grey and blue, but it turns out I am an autumn and was habitually wearing colours that didn’t suit me,

I am a winter with green eyes too.

I would recommend an analysis, it is really difficult to see on yourself. Try style me happy, it is very reasonably priced

ImNotThereAmI · 10/11/2024 20:53

It’s all about the undertone of your skin. Having said that though, summer and winter are both cool so in these it’s the contrast which becomes more important. Winters having more contrast in their natural colouring and summers less. It’s this I think that’s hard to determine without being properly draped.

weareallcats · 10/11/2024 21:10

I agree that you need to be draped - it can be really surprising when you see how different colours affect your skin, make your eyes pop, etc. Blue drains me of all colour - when I put on something from the autumn palette (softer end) suddenly I have golden skin, green eyes, reddish hair...

It does sound like you are thinking about it the right way op - what suits you - but you need an independent eye to see it really.
