Plus size suck in push up underwear

I am a bridesmaid in a few weeks. Dresses are sorted and they are gorgeous but they are empire line, which thankfully isn’t making me look pregnant for a change! However, I am 42DD (I’ve done Boob or Bust so happy I’m wearing the right size) and about a size 20/22. My boobs are a little too close to the empire line ‘waist’ band for my liking at the moment; I’d like a little more distance!

Can anyone recommend plus size suck in/push up underwear? Would a body suit type thing be best? Or are they just a pain? I’m clueless - haven’t tried shapewear since the last time I was in a wedding years ago and the suck me in pants just spent the whole day rolling down!

I got one from Next to wear under a sequin dress and it worked a treat! Mine came without a bra so I could wear my own but I'm sure there were ones with bras. Just Next own.

My experience of all-in-one shapewear is it can pull your boobs down or squash them somehow - especially if you have a longer torso.

Agree with @Plump82 that the ‘wear your own bra’ ones are MUCH better. They sometimes give a bit of an extra push up naturally where they sit under your bra too!

Spanx or skims every time but get the right size or it makes you look like a sausage that's burst out it's skin. As the others say the under bust ones are good so you can wear a good bra

Agree this is the best all rounder and easy to go for a wee.

Whatever you choose OP, make sure you can go for a wee without it being a contortionist’s challenge.

I had no idea the wear your own bra things existed! Thank you!

Watching with interest as i have a similar dilemma coming up. Amazon do low back bra converters- I haven’t tried them yet but they’re only a few quid…

I tried one once. It decided of its own accord to try and catapult me into space when l bent over to pick something up.

Ha ha!

I used to buy the M&S shaper tights which stayed up well until I got to my room when they rolled down of their own accord!!!
