I try to only buy a few things and better quality, but at the same time I do like to look reasonably “current”. I must say that I was a bit confused about an another thread where someone was saying ankle boots with a small heel look “dated”. Is it more about which boots are matched with what outfit?
I know big chunky boots have been very “in” in the last few years but most French brands etc still have more classic styles. I know that pointy boots with a kitten heel are probably the most current look but they are not for me as I do lots of walking.
am I going to look terribly dated if I wear:
- ankle boots to work, or flat knee high boots with dresses;
- on weekends, just my blundstones for traipsing around:
- maybe (whispers it) some looser flat knee highs with skinny jeans (loved that look 15 years ago, as I am short and skinny, so I think it suits me with baggy tops).
