Do you wear your work clothes out of work?

Started an office job this year and have built up a smart casual office wear wardrobe. Just wondering if people wear some work clothes out of work or keep clothes separate?

Only asking as going to a ceilidh tonight and am wearing a dress I wear to work - it was an out of office dress before I got my job! None of my work colleagues will be at the ceilidh!

I can wear all my work clothes at home or in my social life and sometimes I do if I’m in a rush as they’re easy to grab and don’t require much thinking or matching.

Very little cross over, my work is quite formal so I always wear a jacket and shoes (very very rarely boots). I wouldn’t wear a jumper and certainly nothing with an elasticated waist.

Outside of work I’m much more casual. I might wear a bias cut skirt, chunky boots and a jumper or tailored trousers but with a tshirt and trainers

Post Covid when we had 'dress for your day' and one day in the office with f2f client meetings quite rare it was very casual so lots of cross over.

Now it's got a bit smarter again. Jeans have remained ok but joggers and the like rarely seen.

So I have a work wardrobe again. I may wear the odd jumper out of work but that's a work jumper I use for smarter weekend stuff rather than the other way around.

Weekends I generally look like stig of the dump.

Yes I just have clothes. There's probably ends of each spectrum with smarter black trousers that I wouldn't wear in a regular Saturday, and sweatshirts I wouldn't wear to work, but the mid area totally crosses over.

I work in a design related consultancy in central London. Pretty much anything goes.
