Is the Polo Ralph Lauren logo considered tacky?

I don't really wear obvious brand/logo clothing or accessories but I kinda like these Polo Ralph Lauren caps. Are these considered tacky?

If so, any other brands I should stay away from?

I don't think it's tacky. It's kind of a preppy staple, isn't it? I think because it's so small, that it never looks too ostentatious.
