This is the 2nd tret thread I’m starting (apologies) I’m finally gonna give it a go. Has anyone used either of these and if so which one did you prefer?
also I was given referral codes on my last thread and can’t seem to find them so if anyone wouldn’t mind sharing a code also please

I’ve never tried Dermatica but I’ve been using skin and me for years. I’m on a 0.05% tret dose now and they’ve been really good at upping the dose. My rosacea has cleared up, my pores seem smaller and I never have blocked pores now and despite being the wrong side of 50, my skin has never been so good! I don’t use it every night as often I forget, which makes it good value! I don’t use high end products to cleanse and moisturise any more as I don’t need them.

I tried Skin+me and got orange peel skin after 3 weeks. Really awful. Perseverance is recommended but I googled Tret adverse effects and decided it’s not for me.
I’ve stopped using it for a week and already my skin looks much smoother and better.
It’s not quite the miracle cure all it’s hyped to be imo.

I’ve been using skin and me for two months and I can’t see any difference to my skin. I’ve cancelled my subscription.
Im now using Elf holy hydration for everyday skincare

It depends what's in it, it's a much more long haul
Tretinoin is the kind of thing you use for years, it helped my acne a lot but the main thing is ageing for me. My skin looks really really good compared to other people my age

I've been using skin and me for about 5/6 months now. But notice I have azelaic acid. Should I be getting tret?

LostittoBostik · 07/12/2024 22:53

I'm using And Begin which is Skin+Me for middle aged skin. I'm really happy with the progress on my wrinkles and signs of ageing, but it hasn't dealt with my congestion and breakouts on my chin yet. I'm wondering if I'm still in the purge period.
It's a lovely product to use overall though.
Can anyone else on this thread tell me how long the purge lasts?

My skin has rosea and uneven skin tone. Also scars from being spotty until my 30s. I guess I would ultimately like flawless skin that looks blemish free!

6 months into skin and me and my redness and skin texture has improved so much. To pp who gave up after 2 months, it took 3 for me to see results and I had terrible purging for first 2 months. Stick with it a little longer!
