Lower Blepharoplasty - Signature Clinic

I’m considering getting a Lower Blepharoplasty procedure done at the London signature clinic.
Has anyone else experienced this clinic? Or this procedure? The clinic does the surgery under local anaesthetic. Keen to hear anyone else s experience!

No experience at all BUT my understanding is that for facial surgery it's best to choose your surgeon on recommendation and where they work from isn't that relevant as they may work in several locations.

Is there a reason you've chosen that clinic?
Do you know anything about the surgeons there?

There is info online about 'best surgeons for' so maybe look at that?

@LemonSherbertDabs thank you for your response! The surgeon is Dr Carlos Debbas, from what I have read and seen (on social media) he is an experienced surgeon for the eye area. However I don’t know anyone personally who has had a procedure with him / at this clinic and haven’t found any threads about his surgery.
I chose this clinic because the price is very reasonable and I like they use local anaesthetic, I’m too scared for general!

I had an upper blepharoplasty done at Signature Clinic in Manchester and it has turned out great and I look so much better for it. I think the surgeon was called Ahmed.
I was very nervous having it done under local anaesthetic but was able to travel home by public transport wearing sunglasses. There wasn’t much bruising and I didn’t need painkillers other than maybe the first 24 hours.
Their price was very low but I cannot fault them and am 100% happy.

Is the surgeon an ophthalmologist? I personally wouldn’t go near the eyes unless they were. If you’re happy with a general surgeon performing it find out how many eye surgeries they do a year. Is it 20 or 200? And are they a member of the medical board (GMC)? You can perform surgery without being registered, best to check. Check if the surgeon is on Realself and what their reviews are like. If you do like the surgeon google to see if they have their own website, usually they perform in several hospitals and the same surgery can be cheaper at a different hospital. There are several private Facebook groups that are great to start learning what to look for.

In London there are specialists such as Ms Sabrina Shah Desai and Mr Daniel Ezra. You can do it just outside of London (Brighton, Worthing etc) with someone like Mr Saul Rajak if cost is a factor.
