What would you wear for this?

Don’t laugh! I have real difficulty knowing what to wear and have no sense of style. I wish I had and am trying to branch out. My typical clothing is scruffy/ casual. Not at all stylish, laid back, loungewear casual.
I do okay for work - currently midi dresses and a jacket or cardigan.
Size 12, nearly 50.

My question is, what would you be wearing for going your teenager to a school/ college evening information event?

Anything I was already wearing during the day,this isn't something you get dressed up for. Wear jeans or whatever you wear in the day.

I’m sure many parents will be going more or less straight from work so I think your work clothes sound fine 😊

I would not change what I had worn in the day.

As above. I wouldn’t get changed from whatever I was wearing, whether it was work clothes or jeans and t shirt.
