Phillips lumea or similar - what actually works?

Hi all
Am looking to get an IPL hair remover but it is difficult to work out which are good, which are bad, or whether I should just spend money and get my hair lasered at a beauty place. Need to remove the regularly popping up neck/chin hair, and would like to zap along my bikini line.

any recommendations?

many thanks in advance.

I have a Lumea. I use it on underarms, legs and bikini line. It’s worth the money, hair grows back much finer and less frequently. the app is handy as well to remind you to laser again. I think boots currently have a deal on them as well.

⬆️ same.

I like the feature that you can use plugged in or wireless too

I have a lumea. Phillips do a try before you buy thing - it's £44/month and you pay that for a year but can send it back if you change your mind.

Also a lumea fan. I think it depends on your colouring as to success, so dark hair and light skin so that would be something to consider.

It's probably been my best beauty buy ever, one of the few gadgets that's actually done exactly what it claimed.

My Philips lumea is the best money I’ve ever spent. I’m fair skin dark hair and HAIRY. It’s got rid of 90% of the hair on my legs, bikini line and arms. For some reason it’s not as effective on my underarms and I’d say it’s got rid of about 60-70% but even that is amazing. I could shave my legs in the morning and feel stubble there by the evening so it’s been life changing!
