I'm mostly after inspiration for my Xmas wishlist so please feel free to share yours.

Mine so far:

LED face mask
Curling wand
Mini ugg boots
Silk pillowcase
New trainers but haven't decided which ones..

Maybe a nice face oil or serum- any recommendations for sensitive/ combo skin?

Who's buying these for you?
Sounds a lot.
I know it's a clichè ..but l am just honestly happy to spend day with my family and seeing the Grandkids with their gifts.
Yes I will be giving them gifts/ money... but I'll be happy with a tube of hand cream and a chocolate orange.

Lentilweaver · 05/11/2024 23:08

I mean this is S and B, not CoL or AIBU!

I say that as someone who doesn't do Xmas and therefore has no wishlist.

Tinybirdie · 05/11/2024 23:09

I'd recommend the Maysama LED panel rather than mask
Clarins double serum would be on my list too

Tinybirdie · 05/11/2024 23:10

And I love the platform gazelles on cream and green

BeetledBrow · 06/11/2024 08:38

Heaven’s sake, @Moier - this is the Style & Beauty board!

I just want:

A voucher for a Sophie Carbonari salon visit.

Margaret Howell silk shirts.

And some Sophie Buhai jewellery.

GettingStuffed · 06/11/2024 08:43

Luckily I don't really do Christmas presents so I will not bankrupt anyone (well apart from me!)

Floisme · 06/11/2024 10:08

Books on fashion / costume history
Cowboy boots
A smile from my son
The smell of new mown hay

henlake7 · 06/11/2024 10:14

I only ever really ask for practical things TBH (anything swanky I buy myself as a present so as not to ask too much of people).
So this year Ive asked for thermal tops and a hairdryer as I havent had one since I was a teenager!

oh, and bed socks.....I never turn down more bed socks!😊

MotherWol · 06/11/2024 10:27

I'd like:

  • nice soap
  • hand cream - possibly the Aveda limited edition fragrances, Neals Yard or L'Occitane
  • a facial oil, perhaps Kiehls or Biossance

In all honesty I don't really love the gift aspect of Christmas, I find it a bit stressful, but soap, handcream and chocolate are easy things to steer people towards.

@Floisme … Grin

If you want the real thing I know a shop in Sheridan, Wyoming where you can get cowboy boots as worn by cowboys. For normal wear there’s:

Grenson

Oh it's inauthentic all the way for me @BeetledBrow although If I'm ever anywhere near Sheridan, Wyoming, I'd love to visit that shop and try some on.

If those Grensons were only in brown (and it would have to be the right shade of brown but this isn't the thread for that conversation) then I'd be asking everyone for contributions and paying for my own books!

wintersgold · 06/11/2024 14:08

Guerlain perfume
YSL Sac de jour
A silk blouse and/or dress
A camel hair coat

Littleguggi · 06/11/2024 17:23

I love having a nosy at what people put on their lists so thank you for sharing! I've pretty much had the same wishlist going for years so maybe I just need to buy myself these things rather than relying on loved ones buying them for me haha! Tbh I usually ask for money with the intention of treating myself!
