What do young men in their 20s wear for going out?

Ds2 usually wears t shirt jeans and trainers to go out to pubs. He's going somewhere and a friend said he'll need to be smart no trainers etc or he won't get in. Think it's a club in a city?Does anyone have any ideas what he should wear? He's always casual except for weddings etc.
He doesn't mind me asking. Think he's embarrassed to ask the mates.

For young men in their 20s:

1. Casual Night: Slim jeans, a fitted T-shirt, and sneakers. Add a bomber or denim jacket.
2. Date Night: Chinos or dark jeans with a button-down and loafers.
3. Clubbing: Black T-shirt, slim jeans, trendy sneakers, and a leather jacket.
4. Formal: Tailored suit with dress shoes; skip the tie if it’s a relaxed vibe.
