Would you wear this?

would you wear this if you were a busty size 16?

Except the one I have my eye on has a very wide black belt that cinches the waist.

If not, you have to find me something else suitable for a night out with other 20-somethings in a city.

depends if it's stretchy

does look more day wear than night out to me though

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:39

Well, I've tried it on, and it's not tight at the top, and I used the belt to pppull the (flappy) waist in.

Probably is daywear

not even with a nice bag and black tights and little dolly shoes?

ok then

buttons undone with nice necklace

brimfull · 25/04/2008 20:41

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:41

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:43

yes the one I'm eying up 'ppoofs out' a bit more, irt's not pencilly at all./

fairyfly · 25/04/2008 20:45

Yes, but i would have to have the top buttons open, the collar up and my hair and make up spot on. In the style of a sexy sec.

brimfull · 25/04/2008 20:45

yes they would be nice with it I think

have you got eye catching necklace??

Ledodgy · 25/04/2008 20:46

this shape I mean

WallOfSilence · 25/04/2008 20:47

No, I wouldn't. No matter what size I was it's not really night out wear.

this

I bought that top today to wear out tomorrow night. It looks like feck all on that lifeless model though.. I have boobs!! And I will buy an orange top for under it & a pair of indigo jeans tomorrow.

It's probably awful looking to others, but I like it

Heated · 25/04/2008 20:49

Like the idea of it. The problem is that they often gape in all the wrong places if you are busty. It has to be a really good fit to be flattering on the top half and at the same time the bottom. You won't know until you try it on, but it doesn't look very hour-glass (assuming you have hips)

brimfull · 25/04/2008 20:49

wallofsilence-I don't think that top's night wear either tbh

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:50

It's very pretty WOS but I am scared of patterns.

My makeup is never slovenly when I go out, and my hair will be like this but chestnut.

Basically ... whatever I wear, it's GOING to be black.

Heated · 25/04/2008 20:50

My post referred to the turquoise dress btw. I type sloooow.

brimfull · 25/04/2008 20:53

colditz-you're hair will look plain weird like that

WallOfSilence · 25/04/2008 20:55

ggirl, it is nightwear for the pub we're for It's not upper class

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:55

No, according to the measuring tape, I don't really have hips, but the belt that comes with the dress I'm looking at pulls my waist in a bit.

bit more like this

But not as pencilly round the legs.

Oh god this is hard.

I am wearing trousers

OP posts:
brimfull · 25/04/2008 20:56

ah well pub ,anything goes

SmugColditz · 25/04/2008 20:56
