Blouses that are a bit special/vintage/classic in fabric and style

I don't often buy clothes (or go out - maybe that is a chicken and egg thing) but I'm turning 50 and want to go forward with a few quality items that I really like. I am planning on purchasing a couple of nice blouses that will dress up or down to wear with jeans. I love the look of these from Wrap London, and this kind of thing from Sezane (though the reviews of their quality are a bit mixed) and I was gutted to miss out on this in my size. All three brands share something a bit classic/vintage in their styles and I wondered if anyone knew of any others that are similar? Thank you :)

I’ve been eyeing up that blouse, it looks gorgeous. How is the sizing and I was worried there might be a yellowy tinge to it? Is it more white than cream? Thanks!

@Schoolstressed definitely cream. I got a 42, I'm a large boobed 12/14. Could possibly have sized down in a different bra!

Have just ordered this from M&S Autograph, same reasons for wear - dress down jeans or smart wear and it seems to fit the bill. Yet to collect it though so can't advise any further yet!

That per una top is lovely and it's probably a good thing their stuff is a weird fit on me or else I'd break my run of only buying clothes in flat pack form.

I do have a soft spot for pintucks. I made this blouse, last year in a monochrome liberty lawn and it's one of my favourite makes ever.

Seconding Nobody's Child. These are all 100% organic cotton, they have more colours and styles, and are getting more embroidery in. Prices are around £50 (but check the Outlet tab!) They use M&S sizes.

La Redoute also has a large selection! Here are some, all 100% cotton, prices £44-£75.

I recently got myself this M&S blouse in the rich amber. The colour is more brown in person but a nice brown and definitely better than in these photos. The teal is lovely too though.

I wore mine out on Saturday and had lots of lovely comments.

I really like this Brora blouse, now only available in a size 14.

You won't regret it ... it's meant to be big (clue's in the name), but it will depend on the look you prefer, I guess. Size down if you'd like it a bit neater, stay at standard size if you want the intended over-sized look. I think it would go across several traditional sizes.

I didn't admit it earlier, because @GonnaBeYoniThisChristmas made me feel guilty, but I actually don't iron it at all - I just wash it, hang it up to dry and it's good to go.

@WinWhenTheyreSinging @GonnaBeYoniThisChristmas I also have that &Stories blouse in several colours and love it. What do you wear it with? Any suggestions gratefully received, I’m hopeless at styling things and i’m not quite sure what to wear with it on the bottom half other than jeans. Needs to go with flat / low shoes ideally. Thank you and sorry to slightly derail, but it seems popular!

By chance, was in a large M and S store and found myself looking for the blouse above. Fortunately for my bank balance, couldn't find it. It would have been a nice post-hospital scan treat (got boxed Chinese takeaway for tea instead).
