Ate these boots too big around my leg?

They're so comfy but I just don't know if they look silly because they're too wide at the top?

I see other people wear them like this but I'm just not sure they look ok?

Yes

You look like Peter Pan

BleachedJumper · 27/10/2024 16:10

I always think it looks quite chic when there is a little gap between the boot and your leg.

HermoinePotter · 27/10/2024 16:11

This is personal preference but I don’t like my boots with gaps around the top, I don’t notice boot gaps on other people though!

IBlameTheDog · 27/10/2024 16:16

@HermoinePotter

I think I'm a bit obsessed. It's ALL I notice when looking at other people's boots! I do see lots of people wearing them like this but I don't know how I feel about them 🤷‍♀️

I like them

YellowphantGrey · 27/10/2024 16:19

The gap is fine but they look to baggy on the rest of the leg. You need a more solid boot leg

I think you might be right.

All my boots are like this, country boots, constantly emptying hay out of them and out out boots, no hay.Wish my thighs were still so slim.

Purplecatshopaholic · 27/10/2024 16:48

They do look a bit big to me, yes.

Mynewnameis · 27/10/2024 16:56

You have lovely legs op. I think you can find a better boot for you.

BashfulClam · 27/10/2024 16:59

I hate that, looks like wellies. You can get them taken in

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 27/10/2024 17:01

I don't think they fit overall. You could find better.

Possiblynotever · 27/10/2024 17:07

I think they look lovely, and for a continental look you should wear them without tights....you can also try with high socks showing just a trim of colour...

Mairzydotes · 27/10/2024 17:08

You have very slim legs.

The boots might look less baggy with skinny jeans tucked in.

ThePoshUns · 27/10/2024 17:10

They look too big for you all around

PashaMinaMio · 27/10/2024 17:13

You have lovely slim legs but yes, if you can afford it, get a tighter fitting boot.
Keep the boots in the photo for wearing with skinny jeans tucked in? Too good to chuck or donate.

I’m the same I really notice it!

TossedSaladandSE · 27/10/2024 18:31

They're not a flattering style

Too baggy at the bottom

Weird fold at the top

The gap doesn't matter as much tbh

A definite no then 😂
