How do you decide what products/make up to use and stick with it?

I wish I could be more organised. I tend to know what suits me products and make up wise but I always end up trying out different samples and thinking something else might be better, cheaper and then I find it's less effective and false economy.

How do you just stick to what you know suits you regardless of cost?

Find palette of colours and brand that suits you, stick with it.
For sure other colours and brands are new sparkly but don’t necessarily suit
I stick with what I know works, don’t waste time faffing with latest IG or TikTok thang

with perfume have a signature scent and stick with it. Know what scents family suit me (floral) and stay in that range

Makeup-wise, and also skincare, I have very reactive skin so don’t tend to chop and change other than lipstick - even then it is always red. I don’t do much eye makeup, but have a few sparkly eyeshadows that come out around Christmas.

I disagree with pp re perfume, which is my biggest joy. I’d hate having a signature scent and love having lots to choose from. It’s a bit of a hobby.

Reading that back I have a “signature look” (red lipstick, bobbed hair in a Louise Brooks style) rather than scent.
