How to style a satin midi skirt

I got this satin skirt after seeing it recommended on here.

I really like it but not sure how to style it. I've worn it with trainers and tucked in white t-shirt which I think looked good. But what will work with it in colder months? And how can I dress it up for a night out?

I bought a French Connection camel colour cotton knit as well, bizarrely not on the JL website.

FC seems to have perked up muchly in the last year or two, wearable stuff and even natural fabrics.
