Help me and my fine hair

My hair is so fine and dull, please can someone recommend any good products whether it’s a styling tool, styling product, shampoo… anything! I just feel so dull and drab :-(

I hear you op. My really fine hair drives me crazy, and have to admit I just tie it back most of the time as well. Especially this time of year wind is my biggest enemy. I see other people around with their hair just looking like hair and mine just flys all over the place as there is so little weight to it!

The things I've found work best.
Treat your hair like silk. It's fine and fragile and whilst you can get a lot of volume temporarily by doing lots to it, most thickening products are very drying and in the long run your hair will really suffer.

I have to wash my hair every day and make no apologies for that. I switch about between aveda pure abundance shampoo and aveda shampure, depending on what I'm doing that day. I then use a conditioner just on the ends to detangle and rinse out straight away.

Kerastase genesis serum on my scalp/roots and then kerastase ciment thermique on the ends and then blow dry upside down with a warm/ cooler setting.
Really regular trims and keeping the ends very blunt with no layers also makes a huge difference.
If I have a special occasion that I want it to look really thick for then I swear by batiste bare dry shampoo or klorane dry shampoo. Washing my hair and doing all the usual things above and then spraying in loads of dry shampoo one dry makes my hair look so thick. I try not to do it too often though as don't think it's great for your scalp and think I'd get to addicted to the big hair look. 😆
