Does such a thing exist? Something that would act like an instant facelift for a 60something with pretty good skin. Matte or very slightly luminous, definitely not shiny or 'glowy'.
Not obsessed (yet!), just wondered if people had a party go-to, for under £50.

Clarins beauty flash balm

I like the Pixi one, definitely makes me look more glowy. I think it was developed with older skin in mind. M&S stock Pixi so you could try it in store?

I love Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint.

It's wonderful and just adds an even youthful glow.

Clarins beauty flash balm

This has been reformulated and is crap now.

The hourglass primer is amazing but very ££££

You want Ren Perfect Canvas. It’s got consistency of hyaluronic acid serum, no glowy/shiny bits. Every time I use it under makeup I always wonder why do I look so good?🤪

This is really helpful, thanks everyone.

Good idea and thanks for your link@CheerfulBunny - I use a Pixi toner and it does make a difference, so I might give one of theirs a go... but there are so many of them! Overnight Glow, Glow serum, Vit C serum, Collagen and retinol serum, Clarity concentrate... and no obvious difference between them. Brands could do themselves such a favour if they made it easier to see what the main product benefit is.

Interesting about Clarins Beauty Flash Balm being reformulated. I used it in my 30s. Didn't do much for me, but my friends loved it and it's a classic for beauty editors. Vieve and REN are both brands I rate. I shall investigate all!
