Waterproof but breathable walking boots for hot weather

Going on holiday next month to a hot country. It'll be just under 30 degrees and we'll be doing a bit of hiking. It's the rainy season and I have Goretex walking shoes but they can get a bit sweaty in the heat. Can anyone recommend a good pair of walking boots that would be suitable, and are also reasonably stylish? I'm thinking a mid-rise brown (leather?) would be good? Women's shoe size 4. Thanks!

In my opinion I wouldn't bother trying to stay dry and go for proper hiking sandals with decent grip instead. The rest of you is going to be wet and you're going to be sweating anyway, that sort of defeats the purpose of Goretex even if it is breathable.

Unless you are trying to protect your feet from nasties in the ground, in that case I'd get some lightweight trail shoes. You get protection from your surroundings with grip and a covered shoe.

Thanks @TheLongRider , I should have said - rainforest/jungle, so yes would need my feet to be covered.

Oops posted too soon, sorry cannot help with walking boots, I have an old pair of Timberlands I use they have lost their waterproof but dry quick.
