Nose to mouth fillers - experiences?

I've had a few very subtle tweakments over the years, mainly cheeks, and lately a tiny bit in marionette lines (0.5mls each side.)

I go to someone very good and highly qualified (medical) so I'm not too worried about their expertise.

But what I'm interested in is how do you avoid a 'flat face' if your creases are filled in? I did read that it's best to do the cheeks as well for balance, so I'm just trying to price the possible procedure and not look overdone.

Also, was there any downtime? I had no bruising at all with my cheeks but a small bruise to the corner of my mouth with the marionette, which lasted about a week.

I had the same amount to marionette lines. It didn’t look flat, because the amount of filler was so small. I have this once a year. I had a couple of bruises that also took a week to go, had to use concealer. They did suggest that next time I could try a little filler in the hollows of the cheeks. I might do this but not higher in the cheeks, as it can look very unnatural and squirrel like!

Thanks @Bignanna Have you had nasolabial filler ? Nose to lips? Not sure if that's what you meant.

There was no down for me & I didn’t bruise but I suppose you’ll never know if you will bruise or not as sometimes I bruise with Botox other times I don’t. I had 1ml so 0.5ml each side.
