Christmas party dress needed

I need to find a dress to wear for a wedding (no church) which has the dress code “fabulous”, and also on Christmas Day, and New Years Eve (different people at each event). I am 5 foot 4 and a size 10/12. I had a twins three months ago and am breastfeeding, but won’t being the babies to the wedding or NYE. I’m usually a size 8/10 and hope to get back to that once I’ve stopped breastfeeding. I quite like the look of this dress from Boden, but I think it will be unflattering on snd if reminds me of something from a dressing up box/an amateur production of Abigail’s Party. https://www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/faux-feather-trim-short-dress-bright-pink-lotus-stamp/sty-d1110-pnk?cat=C1S2G4

I’m happy to spend a decent amount but not anything ridiculous as I hope to drop at least a dress size after I’ve finished breastfeeding. Would love some suggestions. I won’t have time to go to any shops to try anything on so something I can order is vital. 🙏

I don't really know what flattering means and I've no objections to explosions in the dressing up box. I quite like it.

What nonsense. I've no connection with the company. Do say that for all , for example, the endless (and mystifying) Mint Velvet reccomendations that appear on here?

I agree they are ghastly! But this poster has form to posting completely the opposite thing to what the OP has asked for. Really poor taste in clothing!

The OP hasn't asked for anything specific beyond something "fabulous". She hasn't specified what she thinks is "fabulous" beyond she quite likes a rather non Boden looking Boden dress but is worried it's a bit too much of a dressing up box.

Do you have any suggestions of what is "fabulous" or are you and Littleguggi just going to carry on carping? And in Littleguggi's case making a nasty accusation?

Perhaps Littleguggi should report her concerns to MN.

Klements rather fabulous
