I got hair like shredded wheat

I've tried overnight oils, intensive conditioners, leave in - the lot.

I'd love silky, smooth hair. My hair is also very fine so don't want to weigh it down. I get highlights every six weeks.

Any great ideas?

i understand. This is clearly not bleached - probably foils have been used therefore in great condition. Also she’s fairly young, so no post menopausal or ageing frizz to deal with. I can get mine like this using GHD straighteners, but again they aren’t great for your hair’s overall condition!

What? Foils are bits of hair sectioned off and covered in bleach and wrapped in foil.

K18 is amazing used with moisturising shampoo (& masks when not using k18).
Semi di lino oil is lovely as well.
If your adding protein you also need to add moisture as too much protein can cause hair to snap.

Foils are just a carrier tool to apply a product. Any product, not necessarily bleach.

well yes but it was said like using foils would mean that the hair wasn't damaged. Its highly unlikely that you'll get sufficient lift from a tint

The photo you added you mean? I’d bet money it’s been bleached.

Try L’Oréal purple shampoo. It’s magic on my bleached hair.

Also, I only get mine highlighted every 10 weeks or so.

It’s definitely bleached. It will have been bleach and then toned

cocochoco.ie/product/cocochoco-ceramide-intensive-restoration-shampoo/ try this. (I'm a hairdresser)

Silvertulips · 19/10/2024 10:57

Could you recommend one without coconut? A few of us are allergic.

Palmers olive oil leave in conditioner. It's incredible.

Bleach london hair mask is fairly expensive at £20 a pot but really works. I have very thick long hair so I can fly get two treatments out of it but if you have shorter hair you'd probably get 4/5
