How's the quality of Seafancy?

I recently saw some try-on videos of their swimsuits on TikTok. They looked really modest and cute. After checking out their website (seafancy.co.uk), I found lots of the high-waisted shorts style I'm looking for, and the tankini skirts are long enough. The XL should cover the thickest part of my thighs just right.

I love the styles, but I'm not sure about the quality. Oh wise mumsnet, has anyone bought from them before?

I've heard shipping takes about two weeks, and my family is headed to Phuket for vacation in mid-next month. Thanks in advance!

Same question, I haven't bought it yet, but I saw their TikTok and thought it was pretty good. There is a green and white striped boy short bikini, which I really like. I want to ask if anyone has bought it. Thank you.

In July, I bought three sets of bikinis. The cuts are great, and I really like the pocket design. However, the shipping was indeed slow (at least slower than I expected), and the process wasn’t very transparent. Fortunately, they all arrived in the end.

I tried one on in tkmaxx a while ago - I really liked it, though the particular one didn’t quite fit, so I googled the brand. Quality seemed v good - I’d order from them if it was easier but it seems like a hassle and I know I’d want to order several and return some so I haven’t bothered. But I did like them in real life when I saw them.

I really like some of the Seafancy designs but when I looked at the Trustpilot reviews I quickly abandoned the idea. Mainly 1 star.

I had a shorts bikini from there where the colour ran every time it got wet. A bikini!! Plus the padding in the crop top bikinis kept going walkabout.

I bought a tankini this year and the quality is fine. Shorts cover my arse, and the top has a boob shelf. It took about a week to arrive so not bad. I'll get another one.

The quality is fine but the customer service is a nightmare. Steer well clear. You have to post stuff back to the US, which isn't at all clear from their website. Their standard MO seems to be to suggest that you keep the stuff you don't want, for a discount off the original price. Awful.

That's simply wonderful, thank you for sharing!

It seems their after-sales service isn't quite up to scratch.

I ordered 2 suits from them, both of them are very cute and good quality! The only thing is ,you can only reach them by email -no direct phone calls!I had a few issues, and they did help me out,but it took quite a bit of time.

I have a red tankini from Seafancy. Before buying it, I paid special attention to the spandex content. I read in a magazine that the higher the spandex content in swimsuits, the more resistant they are to chlorine damage, allowing them to maintain their shape, color, and avoid pilling for a long time. A qualified swimsuit should have around 16% spandex content; this one has 18% in the outer layer and 15% in the inner layer. I’ve worn it several times, and it feels quite comfortable—not too tight. After washing, it hasn’t noticeably stretched out, and I really like that the straps are adjustable.

The swimsuit is beautiful and of great quality. The only downside is that the return shipping cost is borne by the customer. They only offer two options: pay for the return or keep the item, which means the clothes may go to waste. If there were a proper return process, it would save both parties time and prevent innocent clothes from being wasted

nutbrownhare15 · 17/10/2024 10:57

I read somewhere that they don't do gussets which put me off

Keisha0 · 18/10/2024 08:28

@GraceL662 I bought 4 swimsuits, but one of the bikinis was the wrong size, and they were out of stock for size L. I refused to pay for return shipping and sent two emails to negotiate. In the end, they asked me to keep it and refunded 60% of the price. However, the swimsuits are really beautiful, and there's no issure wearing them.
