What country does your style closely align with?

I have been watching street style videos on YT including French, Danish, Italian and British. I feel most drawn to Danish style.

Italian

I once got told I have the style of a K-pop boy band member so I’ll say Korean.

British probably, in that my taste is fairly eclectic and sometimes bold. I’m also partial to tropical / resort style in the summer, but I live in Portugal so there are many months of hot weather to try different ideas.

...I think my perchant for graphic t-shirts says USA.

Probably Britain....the type of Londoner who has bypassed cool and circled right round to 'abit weird'.

I'd like to say French. But it's probably more Tuesday morning at the Super-U than Friday night in the 7th.

British. There was a trend recently on tik tok for "frazzled British mum" which is exactly me including the flyaway hair and random assortment of shite in an oversized bag 😂

I was very pleased to be thought of as French when dd and I were last in France. I put that down to our dark hair and lack of plastic injections rather than style though!

My fantasy self wears Italian style with layers of vibrant dramatic colours floating in the breeze. My real life self wears jeans and a pair of earrings I chucked on the floor at the side of the bed

I would like to appear French… but despite a couple pairs earrings bought in Paris and very chic French blouse I look more like a frazzled British woman.

What is Danish street style anyway? Are these distinctions even real? Everyone in Europe basically dresses the same, since we all shop at the same places.

The fashion blogs are obsessed with so-called French style, but every so often they'll churn out an article on "what all British women have in their wardrobes", or some such guff, and you realise what a load of cock it all is since you don't have any of these items.

One of my friends told me that they way I dressed was totally "Helsinki street style," I thought it sounded rather lovely and decided to treat it as a compliment and stopped myself from looking it up on google in case it was more of an insult!

Well this made me Google a few of these styles. 🙄 I present to you Danish and Swedish street style 😂

Tropical, lots of linen light bright colours some patterns ie block print, wide leg trousers with straight bracelet length tops, lot of kurta type style (stops sun burn), long lightweight cotton dresses, never wear shorts or vest tops. Chunky jewellery, wood some ceramic, only silver jewellery.

Bag filled with mozzie spray insect bite cream and sun lotion only factor 50!

I guess preppy US stuff - it's easy and safe and I have no eye for fashion and am completely unadventurous with clothes.

Ooooh interesting! Without being any kind of authority on style I like to think today I'm more scandi style. However tomorrow in work I shall be more French with my navy and black outfit!

Good shout, I'd never have thought of Iceland but having googled, I would wear a lot of these. Not so much the out there stuff you get when you google Street Style, but I love short skirts, black tights and boots, or long wool coats over midi skirts. Although I do tend to spend most of my life in fleecy or fairisle jumpers with jeans or leggings (not too warm here for the jumpers!). Try Acai for outdoorsy but stylish jeans and trousers.
