Am about 10lbs heaver than ideal and feel that lots of tops I try on feel too short - riding up with norks and exposing to much tummy!

Who does nice long 'school run' tops for wearing with 3/4 trousers etc...

tesco do some really nice long line vest tops, that you can wear underneath ordinary length tops to hid bits away

Mikafan · 23/04/2008 14:43

oh yes, I have this bugbear too. Problem is, the long ones I've seen are really frumpy and old-fashioned so I'll be interested in any replies you get

And I don't want long lycra ones which highlight any muffin-esque tendencies....

And I don't really want pure cotton/linen ones which need ironing...

Do I have to go to a Tesco shop or can I buy online?

"easy rider"

What other colours? I'm rather into subtle colours (am blonde, look cheap in bolds...)

i have that one in black, think they do brown too, they have quite a few colours

Pippo · 23/04/2008 15:41

Long Tall Sally tops are generally longer because they are meant for taller women

widgypog · 23/04/2008 17:29

as said before go to tesco get the floernce and fred vest and wear underneath t shirts. i actually love tesco t shirts in general as they are really long. I am short but find it much more flattering to wear a longerline tshirt and tesco is the only place that sell them reasonably and they retain their shape. Not sure what size you are but I have bought the tall range t shirts in dp's and topshop before. I am size 8-10 with dd boobs so have experience of riding up!!!

Also the t-shirts by Tu in Sainsburys are a decent length - and cheap too

I have some nice ones from Uniclo.

Cod - Did you have to do anything unspeakable to your husband in exchange for your easy-rider top? In the interests of Fairtrade, of course.
