Nah - saw it today, and it looks like something our 19 year old au pair used to wear on holiday with us...

MrsBadger · 23/04/2008 14:36

I have similar in black and white

has not seen the light of day for some years

Cappuccino · 23/04/2008 14:37

oh now that is pretty

Cappuccino · 23/04/2008 14:38

ooooooooooh

RosaLuxembourg · 23/04/2008 14:40

Love that one, Capp.

NomDePlume · 23/04/2008 14:45

I have the same body shape as you and could wear it.

Love both.
THe only thing with teh first one is it's halteneck which just doesn't seem to suit me for some reason. Otherwise I'd buy it.

Seasider · 23/04/2008 14:50

Keep ladling on the johnson's Cod. Brown flesh is better than cornbeef.

That dress is v. pretty

SilentTerror · 23/04/2008 17:54

Am seriously considreing buying the Marrakesh one.
Good for School run Cod??

Sputnik · 23/04/2008 21:59

I got the Marrakech one, it is gorgeous in RL. But I've had to send it back to get the next size up as it was quite tight on top. I'm a B/C cup atm as I'm breastfeeding, so not exactly huge.

In fact I sent all the tops I got from them back to exchange for the next size up. Bottoms in the same size were ok. Normally I'm a bigger size in bottoms, so I think they're cutting on the small side for tops.

Anywat ST, maybe order 2 sizes to try?

Sputnik · 23/04/2008 22:05

Too nice for "school run" status IMO. Not that that would stop me....

MrsBadger · 24/04/2008 08:49

my dress from Joe Browns arrived

it is rubbish

Sputnik · 24/04/2008 09:24

Internet shopping is an emotional rollercoaster, isn't it.

Cappuccino · 24/04/2008 09:41

oh MrsB

which one is it?

this one
I don't know what I was thinking tbh, it is utterly see-through and I looked like I was playing at being Heidi. Still, at least it's light to return.

I am not buying any more - the Boden polo dress will look like a sack and the Bravissimo cotton dress is sixty farking quid.

I shall just wear the primark polkadot one till it falls apart I think

legacy · 24/04/2008 09:55

Re online shopping - do you tend to order LOADS of stuff you MIGHT want, then send back stuff which doesn't fit/ don't like etc?

With Boden you can normally find a code for free returns.

With the boys I end up buying more than one size and sending some back.
