I have platinum blonde hair ( well did ) and i put on an ashy toner, but it’s gone DARK GREY!! I want my platinum blonde back and I’ve tried shampooing 6 times and used baking soda but it’s still grey. how can I get it back, can I apply a white toner over this toner. I have an extensions fitting next week for the colour of my normal hair. I used the ashy toner to get some brassy tones out never expected this

Look up bleach bath. I had this happen to me (years ago - I'm actually naturally grey now). In my case the toner was a mistake by my hairdresser and I looked like I'd had a blue/grey rinse!!!! She sorted it out by this method and I went back to my platinum blonde. Be very careful if you decide to attempt it yourself, however. I would definitely do a strand test first.

I don’t think toner on toner will work - they don’t bleach your hair which I think is the only way you can lighten it. Toners generally fade pretty quickly on my hair - if you wash your hair every day between now and extensions day, I reckon the toner will have gone. (Also, after the six shampoos, have you dried it? Mine always looks a lot lighter once dried).

Op with baking soda don’t move to bleaching now as someone suggested, as that’s going to cause your hair to break off. Baking soda makes your hair dry and brittle, adding bleach on top you may as well just shave your head.

id book into a hairdresser. But keeping washing with a good shampoo and making sure it is fully moisturised in between time will help,
