Rosemary oil for hair any advice?

I bought some Rosemary Oil for my hair/scalp. The one linked.

My hair is ok but at 40yo it's not as thick and full as it was. I picked up the Rosemary oil in store, but now reading the reviews loads of people are saying it's made their hair fall out and burnt their scalp.

Has anyone got any experience?

I tried it, didn't have an adverse or allergic reaction, but that may vary depending on how sensitive your scalp is. My main issues were that my hair was out of condition, dry and coarse, and I wanted to improve the health and condition of it. I used it as a pre-wash treatment on my scalp and lengths of my hair, I didn't see any noticeable change in thickness or hair growth, so I haven't repurchased. To be honest, I think it's probably more effective for curly/coily/textured hair than for my hair, particularly if used as a leave-in treatment.

The clinical trials showed that it took nine months of using rosemary oil to make a noticeable difference, no idea how good the above product is though.

Tried it - it was okay but nothing made a difference like using red onion juice. Even my husband uses onion juice now for his receding hairline. He has little baby hairs grow in there. It was amazing- I would recommend it over any other oil or product if it's growth you are looking for. The only downside is the smell. Even after a good wash it does linger.

Red onion juice??

My daughter used it for awhile. Can't say it made a big difference but didn't burn her scalp or anything like that.

She had bloods done at the Dr and fixing her Iron deficiency made a huge difference. If you feel you might be low in Iron or something else it's always worth getting that checked.

Daughter had a more noticeable difference with the Skin, hair and nails vitamins from Boots (just the own brand ones.) Although it's possible she was lacking something in the vitamins.
