Suggestions for a raincoat with hood big enough for my big head?

I’ve got a larger than average head (and long thick hair) and I’ve found some hoods to be too small and leave my whole forehead and front part of my hair exposed. Even borrowing DH’s men’s raincoat the hood was tiny!
If anyone else has this issue please tell me where you got your raincoat from which actually keeps you dry 😂 I’ve got a thick winter coat from Zara which has a lovely huge hood but it’s too warm to wear when it’s rainy but mild.

Don't know if my head is average or not, but have you tried Seasalt?

I have just bought the Stride waterproof parka from Sweaty Betty. The hood is huge! It’s not too warm a coat either and very waterproof.It’s a bit pricey but lovely quality.

I have a seasalt coat and it's incredible quality....but definitely not a big enough hood for those of us with big head and big hair. I feel your pain OP.

I have exactly the same issue OP. Unnaturally large head plus loads of thick hair.

Didriksons are brilliant. In fact their hoods are so deep you have to peer out of them when crossing the road.

I just got one from musto that seems to have a deeper hood. It was 50% off too

You might look at some equestrian websites op. Not only are the coats practical and constructed for bad weather but the hoods are often designed to go over a riding hat.

I've had a trespass Parker for years , it's warm and very waterproof . Cheap too .

Oh I have thick hair and a big head too!

I also have a huge head and a lot of hair.

I bought a man's raincoat from Mountain Warehouse in their largest size (I'm a size 20 so wanted it big!). The hood falls over my nose and the sleeves end somewhere near my knees. It's like walking in a tent! It's fabulous.
