Please help: straight leg jeans with high waist

Wonder if any of you gurus can help me. I am so fed up with my skinny jeans/jegging and am after a straight leg jean with pref a high waste. Would anyone know a pair you could recommend? I am short and a size 12-14. Happy to go to tailor to shorten. I am in the process of losing weight so these are for the in between stages and so would like some cheapish
options.

I swear by Marks and Spencer straight jeans. M&S jeans are generally fantastic at the moment. Many different styles.

Levi’s ‘rib cage’ high waist jeans. Really flattering and have a little bit of stretch.

these are the ankle length ones but they have loads of leg lengths. I have a Levi outlet store near me so didn’t pay £100 for mine. If you search online for your size they’ll be bargains to be had hopefully!

Another M&S Sienna wearer here. Proper high waisted (I'm an apple shape, menopausal belly, and they hold it all in place!) with a straight leg. I am 5'6" and their regular length is just perfect for me. They do them in shorter and longer too.

I have ordered the M&S Sienna. Will report back! I loved the Levi's too so will get them when I hit my target weight.
